SHIPMENT

Stone tiles are heavy and therefore we ask that you make arrangements to take receipt of your order. They will be delivered on pallets or in crates and dropped at the nearest convenient point to your property. The delivery driver cannot help with the subsequent moving of the products into the property.  The drop off point may be on the curbside, or in a driveway, if possible. The delivery vehicle will be large so therefore in most cases unable to enter onto the property due either to its width or obstructions from trees etc. Please ensure that there are no obstacles including cars or other building materials present.

Unpacking, and handling of stone.

Natural stone is a vulnerable material and therefore susceptible to damage until it is fixed onto the wall or floor. Attention must be paid to stop the stone being chipped.

1 - Always provide softening on the floor if stacking the stone on its edge. Never stack on its leading edge only the back or sawn edge

2 - Be careful not to knock into other stones or hard surfaces

3 - Keep area as free from dirt and detritus as possible as this can damage the face of the stone
